CL's New SMMSS Nonwoven Line Successfully Running Overseas

A brand new 3.2-meter SMMSS nonwoven production line (with double web former design) from CL has been successfully commissioned and put into operation at an overseas client’s factory. This client already owns multiple CL lines, including Single S, SMS, and SSMS models, primarily serving the packaging and hygiene markets, such as baby diapers and sanitary napkins.

With the rising standards of living, the demand for high-quality hygiene products continues to grow. To stay ahead of market demands and better meet customer expectations for softness and loft, the client placed a new order in 2024 with CL for this advanced five-beam SMMSS line with a double web forming system.

The successful start-up of this new line not only enhances the client’s capability to produce ultra-soft and fluffy nonwovens, but also strengthens their position in the competitive hygiene market.
